Bruce and his T38 Bruce left Craig and began a varied and "mobile" USAF career with a brief interuption in general aviation:
  - 1971 - 1972: T-33, Homestead AFB, FL
  - 1972 - 1973: F-4 RTU, MacDill AFB, FL
  - 1973 - 1974: F-4D/E, Udorn RTAFB, Thailand
  - 1974 - 1976: F-4C Wild Weasels, Spangdahlem AB, Germany
  - 1979 - 1981: DC-8s/B-727 with Braniff Airlines, Miami and Dallas
  - 1981 - 1984: HQ TAC, Electronic Combat Req'ts, Langley AFB
  - 1984 - 1987: F-4E, Chief Stan/Eval, Spandgahlem AB, Germany
  - 1987 - 1990: HQ TAC Chief EC Ops/Training, Langley AFB
  - 1990 - 1992: F-117, Chief of Safety, Tonepah Test Range, NV
  - 1992 - 1994: F-117/T-38 415 FS/CC, Holloman AFB, NM
  - 1994 - 1997: ACC Chief Force Enhancement, Langley AFB
  - 1997 - 1999: 12th AF Chief of Staff, Davis Monthan AFB, NM
  - 1999 - 2001: AC21ISRC Chief of Staff, Langley AFB
  - 2001 - 2002: President/Tidelands Technology Group, Myrtle Beach, SC
  - 2002 - Present: Capital Region, Lockheed Martin, Washington DC

Bruce says he had a fun USAF career. He managed to sneak in some combat time in both the F-4D/E and F-117 in SEA and Desert Storm. He achieved "Bandit Status" in the F-117 on 20 Sep 1990.

Bruce and Sharon have one grown son, Grayson, aged 24 who also lives in the Alexandria area.  (Info dated: April 2005)
