Gerald retired in 1997. He then ran a landscape company in Albuquerque until 1998. Since then, he has filled the position of Environmental Manager/System Safety Analyst for AFOTEC at Kirtland AFB, NM. In his spare time, Gerald enjoys photography, geneology, woodworking and travel.
He and Missy have two grown children: Erinn Melissa Burch in Clovis, NM and Amanda Lynn Walter in Lafayette, CA. They have one grandchild, Connor Armstrong Burch.
